Music as a duo
Morgan’s vocals and cantor leadership come together with Alex’s piano accompaniment. We support sung prayer, congregational participation, and moments of reflection.
Live music & thoughtful coordination
Voice and piano.
Guidance along the way.
From the first music conversation to the final notes of the service, we help bring the musical and practical details together.
Choose with confidence
Morgan helps couples and families explore meaningful music, understand the flow of a Catholic wedding or funeral, and coordinate selections with their parish.
Bring it together
We help coordinate the music and service details. Alex can arrange music for our voice-and-piano setting; Morgan brings her experience in ministry and event coordination to the planning.
Morgan & Alex Alarie
A shared love of music and ministry.
Our devotion to liturgical music is rooted in the worship of Jesus Christ. Through voice and piano, we seek to elevate each Mass, wedding, funeral, and worship service, helping those gathered enter more deeply into prayer and turn their hearts toward Him.
Morgan · Voice & liturgical guidance
Morgan is a music minister, event coordinator, and Director of Parish Life at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Lansing. She knows the structure of the Mass and how a wedding is celebrated within it, as well as the flow of Catholic funeral liturgies.
She helps families and couples navigate musical choices and understand where each selection fits, working with the parish’s expectations.
Alex · Piano & arrangements
Alex Alarie is a pianist, arranger, and music educator whose background spans instrumental ensembles, choral singing, and parish music ministry. He began on trumpet in sixth grade, started composing and arranging in 2010, and took up piano in 2012.
Alex studied music education at the University of Akron before transferring to the University of Michigan–Flint, where he earned his Bachelor of Music Education in 2019. His experience includes singing tenor at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Flint and teaching middle school band and choir in Gallup, New Mexico.
Since August 2023, he has served alongside Morgan in music ministry at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Lansing, accompanying three weekend Masses. He supports Morgan’s voice, other musicians, and the congregation through thoughtful piano accompaniment.
Our story
From a music classroom to a shared ministry.
We met in a percussion methods class at the University of Michigan–Flint in 2017. What began as a shared study of music grew into a relationship, performances together, and singing alongside one another in church. We married in 2020 and began serving together in music ministry at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in August 2023.
Our hope is that our music touches people spiritually and emotionally while drawing their attention toward Jesus Christ. Whether we are accompanying a Mass, celebrating a marriage, or helping a family remember someone they love, we want the music to deepen prayer and glorify Him.
Prepared for your occasion
Music arranged for your service.
Alex creates written arrangements and transcriptions tailored to the music you choose. Working closely with Morgan, he draws on familiar recordings, acoustic interpretations, and versions supplied by couples or families.
His work often goes beyond a basic melody-and-chord lead sheet, shaping the piano accompaniment around the vocals and the character of the service.

Making the music work in your space.
A venue should provide an acoustic piano or suitable digital keyboard. Microphone and amplification needs depend on the instrument and the size of the space.
Alex can accompany additional singers, and Morgan can coordinate with musicians chosen by your couple or family. Let us know about any guest musicians early so we can plan rehearsals, arrangements, and responsibilities together.
